A Gift Voucher can be purchased for a taster sessions, private class, a course or a single session that will give the recipient the opportunity to explore different pottery styles including hand building and wheel throwing.
Once payment is received, I will email the gift voucher to you to print off.
The recipient will then be able to arrange the dates and times of their classes themselves.
All vouchers remain valid for 12 months from date of sale.
We offer the following options -
POTTERY & GLAZING TASTER CLASSES - £60/PERSON
Includes a 3 hour pottery class and a 2 hour glazing class.
All clay, glaze materials, bisque firing and glaze firing are included.
Max. class size 6 to 8.
All taster classes will take place on a Wednesday (6pm-9pm) - dates to be confirmed.
After a studio tour and short safety induction, you'll learn hand building and wheel throwing basics.
In your first class, you'll make a pot using the coiling method and another on the wheel. These will then be bisque fired.
In your glazing class, you'll glaze your pots using different techniques, and they will be glaze fired for later collection.
Private Pottery Class - £150 for up to 3 people
During this 3-hour private class you will have exclusive use of Studio 2.
All clay, materials, glazing and firing (within reason) are included.
The recipient of the voucher and their guest/s will have the opportunity to explore several different pottery techniques and styles including coil building and wheel throwing. Pieces made on the day will be bisque fired (non-glaze) ready for you to collect.
Glazing - If you would like to come back to glaze your pottery we have 2 options available - both include the opportunity to glaze all pieces made during your original class and all glaze materials and glaze firing are included -
1 - Class glazing session - a glazing session of up to 2 hours which takes place during one of the regular classes - £20/person.
2 - Private glazing session - a private glazing workshop of up to 2 hours (some weekends and evenings available) - £25/person.
Course of 4 Pottery Classes (£142/person)
Classes are 3 hours long & the cost includes all clay, materials, glazing and firing (within reason).
All classes are of mixed experience and ability and are suitable for all levels from complete beginners onwards. Recipients will have the opportunity to explore many different pottery techniques and styles including coil building, slab building and wheel throwing. Instruction, guidance, and ideas will be offered if needed and students will be able to produce their own work.
These are group classes and other students will be attending at the same time.
Single Pottery Class (£42/person)
Classes are 3 hours long & the cost includes all clay and materials and first bisque firing.
All classes are of mixed experience and ability and are suitable for all levels from complete beginners onwards. Recipients will have the opportunity to explore many different pottery techniques and styles including coil building, slab building and wheel throwing. Instruction, guidance, and ideas will be offered if needed and students will be able to produce their own work.
These are group classes and other students will be attending at the same time.
Glazing Session (£20/person)
An additional glazing session of up to 2 hours can be booked if required to take place during a regular class.
This will include all glazing materials, glaze firing and instruction if required.

A POTTERY PARTY is wonderful way to celebrate a Birthday, Hen Party or Family get together.
A 3-hour Pottery Party costs £200 for up to 4 people.
Additional people (to a maximum of 12) are an additional £25 each.
Children 5yrs old and under are free.
All children (under 16 years old) must be accompanied by a fee paying adult. (max. 2 children per adult)
The cost includes exclusive use of Studio 2, all clay and bisque firing (non-glaze).
The participants will have the opportunity to explore several different pottery techniques and styles including coil building and wheel throwing. Pieces made on the day will be bisque fired (non-glaze) for collection at a later date.
An additional private glazing workshop of up to 2 hours, can be arranged at a cost of £25/person which includes glazing and firing pieces made during your party.
Tea, coffee and juice are provided and you are welcome to bring snacks/cake to eat in the coffee room.
Weekends and evening available, subject to regular classes and prior bookings.
