Community Workshops - Kingfisher Place, Selby

I'm running a series of pottery workshops at Kingfisher Place, Selby for clients with a range of learning disabilities and complex needs.

The clients are producing textured slabs of clay which I will then make up in to candle holders in a variety of forms. 
Over the course of 3 workshops clients will be using objects representing materials used in the construction and furnishing of Selby Abbey. The first workshop concentrated on objects made from stone and metal.
Once competed and simply glazed, the candle holders will be displayed at Selby Abbey as part of the Jorvik Medieval Festival.
